saiah 43:18-19
18 Don’t remember the prior things;
don’t ponder ancient history.19 Look! I’m doing a new thing;
now it sprouts up; don’t you recognize it? I’m making a way in the desert, paths in the wilderness.
Greetings Church! As we step into the month of April, we find ourselves in a season of transition. Spring reminds us that change is not only natural it is necessary. What once lay dormant begins to awaken, and what seemed still begins to move again. In many ways, this mirrors the spiritual journey we are walking together.
Transition can be both exciting and unsettling. It often calls us out of what is familiar and into places where we must trust God more deeply. Yet Scripture continually reminds us that God is present not only in the destination, but in the process. Every step forward “even the uncertain ones” is held in His care.
For some, this season may bring personal changes: new opportunities, unexpected challenges, or shifts in direction. For others, it may be a time of spiritual renewal a gentle prompting to grow, to release, or to begin again. As a church family, we too are navigating change, and with that comes an invitation to seek God together with fresh faith and expectancy.
It is important to remember that transition is not a sign that God has stepped back it is often evidence that He is at work. Growth rarely happens in comfort. It happens when we are stretched, when we are called to trust, and when we allow God to shape us into something new.
This month, I encourage you to lean into prayer, remain rooted in the Word, and stay connected to one another. Let us be a community that supports, uplifts, and walks alongside each other through every transition. There is strength in unity, and there is peace in knowing we do not walk this journey alone.
May April be a time of renewal for you spiritually, emotionally, and physically. May you find courage in uncertainty, hope in the waiting, and joy in the promise that God is making all things new.
Pressing On! Pastor Bruce
