Ephesians 5:15-20

Revised Standard Version

15 Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise men but as wise, 16 making the most of the time, because the days are evil. 17 Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is. 18 And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery; but be filled with the Spirit, 19 addressing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord with all your heart, 20 always and for everything giving thanks in the name of ourLord Jesus Christ to God the Father.

Debby and I had the privilege of hearing Desmond Tutu speak at the Disciples of Christ General Assembly in Indianapolis some years ago (1990). What a blessing for us and all who attended. Your sermon reminded us of that encounter as well as it reminded us to have an attitude of gratitude every day in every situation. God is Good. God Bless!

Your sermon this morning reminded us of that and reminded us that we owe God our thanks for everything in every situation. God is Good all the time! God Bess!
